Xsense by Geox Moves How You Do!

With guys everywhere leaving their dens to head outdoors, we want a shoe which moves with us yet is not just good for the gym, sports or a specific activity. However it also has be versatile enough to hit a movie theatre or the market in a pinch. Geox introduces Xense, the shoe designed for the Infiniti Red Bull Racing Formula 1 team’s mechanics and technicians which features NET Technology.

What the Heck is NET Technology?

Is it a three layered system characterised by extra-large perforations dispersed throughout the sole and a full-size membrane which together work to increase the shoe’s properties. This means it will breathe in the most extreme situations.

OK! Should I Buy It?

Geox a stylish brand with their history in Formula 1 racing so any shoe they build has to last. Xsense comes in three styles and four colours, has an ultra grip rubber sole and uses Geox’s patented technology. In short, we suggest trying them on to see if they can be your new “go everywhere” shoe. After all, who wants to lug two pairs of shoes around?

A New Type Of Tread For Men…

The science of exercise shoes is an ever evolving and innovating science.  This month Reebok unveiled their ATV19+ and the DMXSKY to their already proven ZigTech, RealFlex and SubLite lines.  With the promise of workout-specific footwear, it is the last thing you will need to worry about when you focus on your fitness goals.

The ATV19+ brings 19 cushioned irregular lugs are designed to rip through mud, snow, and grass for earth-shaking traction and high speed stability with Carbon rubber outsole for traction grip and durability. The ATV19+ acts as a true all-terrain vehicle (ATV) for your feet.  With a rugged synthetic toe and heel overlays add durability and abrasion resistance.  The ATV19+ is available today in select Foot Locker locations at a suggested retail price of $149.99.

The DMXSKY employs moving air technology inside three proprietary channels along the shoe’s outsole, moving the air from heel to toe and back again to create maximum comfort and cushioning.  The channels don’t allow the air to move from side to side resulting in greater stability for the runner.  The men’s Reebok DMXSKY will be available mid-March at select Foot Locker destinations at a suggested retail price of $139.99.

Reebok Wants To Ignite Your Fire!

Here’s two new fitness buzzwords for you “cross fit” and, like every new exercise trend, Reebok is on it. The company who brought you step aerobics in the 80s and Pump in the 90s launches Cross Fit into the mainstream with some NHL help featuring stars: John Tavares, Matt Duchene and Maxime Talbot. Reebok’s training collection includes hoodies, t-shirts, pants and shorts and is complemented by the TrainFlex DC shoe. Their new shoe is designed to help the wearer with every activity from Olympic lifts to running.

A handful of select Toronto media, including our editor-in-chief, were invited to participate in a morning fitness event keeping with Reebok’s new Live With Fire slogan. Supervised by some of Reebok’s top fitness coaches, media was asked to complete jumping squats, pull-ups, and burpee box jumps within a one-minute time frame.

The Live With Fire brand motto is to help incite consumers to live their lives with passion, intent and purpose. If you think you have to be a buff as a NHL player to get into it, think again. The new campaign ultimate goal is to inspire Canadians to live a fit and healthy lifestyle and to Live With Fire in whatever they do.

Reebok and Spartan Race Partner, Finally!

Want another reason why you should get fit? Here it is. Reebok and Spartan Race, the world’s leading obstacle racing series, and Outside Magazine’s Best Obstacle Race in 2012, have today announce a multi-year partnership. We’re giddy with anticipation!

Reebok will be the title sponsor for the global race series beginning with the first race of the season at Vail Lake Resort in Temecula, California on Saturday, January 26 and Sunday, January 27, and the official apparel, footwear and accessories supplier for the Reebok Spartan Race series. Reebok also plans to develop a range of products specifically created for the demands of Reebok Spartan Race athletes, which will be available in fall 2013.

The partnership was launched with a live event in New York – The Reebok Spartan Race Times Square Challenge. Times Square’s first ever extreme obstacle race saw hundreds of contestants take part including actress/model Brooklyn Decker; former NY Giants All-Pro Tiki Barber; Spartan Race Champion Hobie Call; and Spencer Hendel, winner of the Obstacle Course event at the 2012 Reebok CrossFit Games. The Times Square course featured a 7 ft. wall climb, a mud crawl with barbed wire, a 10 ft. high Hercules Hoist, a 75 ft. sandbag carry, and other obstacles.

Now give us a reason why you are not sticking with your resolution why you’re not hitting the gym?
