Here’s two new fitness buzzwords for you “cross fit” and, like every new exercise trend, Reebok is on it. The company who brought you step aerobics in the 80s and Pump in the 90s launches Cross Fit into the mainstream with some NHL help featuring stars: John Tavares, Matt Duchene and Maxime Talbot. Reebok’s training collection includes hoodies, t-shirts, pants and shorts and is complemented by the TrainFlex DC shoe. Their new shoe is designed to help the wearer with every activity from Olympic lifts to running.
A handful of select Toronto media, including our editor-in-chief, were invited to participate in a morning fitness event keeping with Reebok’s new Live With Fire slogan. Supervised by some of Reebok’s top fitness coaches, media was asked to complete jumping squats, pull-ups, and burpee box jumps within a one-minute time frame.
The Live With Fire brand motto is to help incite consumers to live their lives with passion, intent and purpose. If you think you have to be a buff as a NHL player to get into it, think again. The new campaign ultimate goal is to inspire Canadians to live a fit and healthy lifestyle and to Live With Fire in whatever they do.
